About Me
Emily joined Marcus & Associates in November 2021, and is currently pursuing her CPA designation. After successfully operating a small business of her own for five years, Emily found a true passion for finance and accounting. She believes that having a strong understanding of a company’s financial position through analysis of the financial statements is the key to success. She hopes to use her knowledge and expertise to bring success to businesses and individuals who possess an extreme passion for what they do. Emily has a BSc in Economics from Dalhousie University and a M.A. in Economic Policy from McMaster University. Outside of work she teaches dance classes and enjoys spending time with her family.
